Some of these pro strategies and tips are straightforward, but others require some creativity. The game balances its open world and linear gameplay in such a way that it offers an experience that is not too long, but will have enough space for you to play the way you want. Now get your cowboy hat and upgrade your game.
10 Use things to climb
Parkour in any game is inappropriate as there are always limitations. The Exotic West is surprisingly generous with what you can or can’t climb. Most of the time, you can jump, and your character will grab the ledge and pull itself up. Sometimes, you need a little help.
If you have trouble controlling something, you can have a good amount of things in the world. The real MVPs are the drums. Drag one over it, jump on it, and climb over any roof or balcony you’re trying to climb.
9 Go down the chimneys
You find rope all over the world or on the corpses of those you killed. It comes in handy when going down wells as shortcuts or taking your rewards alive. If you like climbing, you can use the rope to go down the chimneys to enter the buildings.
There are two main reasons why you might want to go like Santa Claus. First, the building may be closed, and since some doors cannot be destroyed, you may need to get creative to get inside. If you have a rope, you are in. Another reason to consider this method is that it’s a great way to go stealth. Nobody expects someone to come down their chimney unless you see some milk and crackers by the fireplace.
8 hit then kill
If you have a deadly style of play, before you stain the dirt at your feet red, you may want to consider this tactic. If you are going to stay in the shadows, consider eliminating the enemies before killing them.
The play here is to hit people with a blunt weapon or strangle them. Once they are out, drag them away where no one will find them and then use a deadly weapon like a machete to hack them to death. It’s smart and bloodsucking all at once.
7 hit the sleepers
If you have been playing Weird West since its release and you are not aware of this next game, you don’t have to worry. In the patch notes for 1.02, one of the miscellaneous features added is what happens when you eject a sleeping person.
Other NPCs who hit her on the head will be seen as still asleep. While there is still potential for people to hide in the bush, you now have a way of ensuring that no one suspects anything when taking someone out in a non-lethal manner.
6 Wait around the corners
When things explode in an area infested with people who want to kill you, it can get chaotic. Taking people one by one is a smart move, but how you do it will have all sorts of results. There is a consistent way of waiting around corners for people to come to you.
The narrow corridor with the corner gives you cover from the shooting people. It also directs enemies in one direction. So, when they come, pull out your gun to get the cleanest kill. Well, it probably won’t be that clean, but you get to the point where you’re going to be alive, and they’re going to be dead.
Buying a horse has many benefits. You have extra storage and a steady flight to get around the map quickly. However, you should also consider horse theft.
Although it is a situational method, stealing an enemy horse makes for a great getaway. Sometimes things get out of hand, or your horse dies. No matter what happens, you may need a quick way out of the area. Stealing a horse allows you to escape immediately to safety as long as you are okay with your honor diminishing.
4 The environment is your weapon
For more damage and effects, using the environment as your weapon can wreak all kinds of havoc in your favor. Depending on your playing style and skills, you can use this in stealth or action packed fashion.
Firing oil lamps will cause fires to burn enemies, causing damage over time. This classic move is easy to learn early on, but there are other things you can discover when you experiment. When you stand aside or shoot through acid, electricity, or fire, your arrow will have an extra kick for unhappy spirits who would rather not be burned, melted, or shocked.
3 Pick up gear from the previous character
Weird West division itself with individual campaigns featuring different characters. It’s all tied together, so when you’re done with one story, you’ll step into someone else’s shoes with some story threads that relate to that previous adventure. With new equipment, you may be at a disadvantage.
To avoid this drawback, go find your ex. Like posse members, you will interact with your ex character to get them to join you or exchange equipment. Whether you stick to it or not, take what you need to make your trip.
2 Target the highest level enemies
Like any RPG, the higher the level of the enemy, the more deadly they are. Weird West’s work can go fast when all hell breaks loose, so it’s easy to get lost in how powerful someone is compared to others around them who might resemble them because of their type or dress.
The big advantage you get from killing the leader of the group first is that someone may try to escape in search of revenge for another day. Therefore, you will have less enemy to deal with.
1 Chasing fleeing enemies
As mentioned, you can allow people to get away to have one less person to deal with during a fight. However, you may want to catch them so you don’t have to deal with them later because it can be uncomfortable when that time comes.
You will need to be quick when they start running to get out of there to plot revenge. This can be dangerous depending on how many enemies there are in the area, but with a gun or if you’re passionate enough to catch them, you’ll save yourself some time down the road.
