Your first port of call is the HOTA Gallery where you’ll find a range of amazing galleries such as Dumpling Dreams, Bricktionary: Interactive LEGO Gallery and HOTA Collections – a permanent collection of over 100 beautiful pieces from Australian artists. Outside, creativity continues with the Sculpture Walk at HOTA where you can discover art in nature. And continue to hike the area’s Adventure Trail, which will take you to the “living roof” of the Outdoor Stage. Trust us, you need to see this oasis IRL. Get your adrenaline pumping with these thrill-seeking experiences

Adrenaline junkies I found a really happy place in GC, with a plethora of hair-raising and stomach-dropping adventures for you to experience. Take off with IFLY Indoor Skydiving where, as the name suggests, you’ll take a journey inside a five-meter wide glass room backed by a giant vertical wind tunnel. It may sound easy but it will test even the biggest thrill seekers. Next, it’s time to hook yourself up to the slingshot that will see you spewing through the sky at 160 kilometers per hour. Want more action? How about climbing the tallest outbuilding in Australia with the SkyPoint Climb. You’ll push yourself to the limits as you climb 270 meters above sea level, but you’ll be rewarded with some of the most stunning views of the Gold Coast and beyond into the lush hinterland. But that’s not the end of your blood-pumping adventure. Gear up and hold your hand as you cruise around the Gold Coast offshore road in a 650 HP jet boat at speeds of up to 80 km/h with the Jetboat Extreme. Get up close and personal with the ocean’s biggest predators on Seaworld’s Shark Bay Discovery Experience. Put on your wetsuit and try to keep your cool as you dive into Reef Lake, home to tropical fish and black and white-tipped sharks.

Are you already packing your bags for your escape from Surfers Paradise? We feel you. While you’re at it, make paths to Paradise Center for endless entertainment including next-level dining, epic shops and arcades.
