“Let’s begin with some news from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Taika Waititi is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for Thor: Love and Thunder and in a recent chat with Entertainment Weekly, the director revealed that he knew he had to push the boundaries.

Waititi explained that while Ragnarok was like a “party”, Love and Thunder is “deeper”. He said, “It’s not a serious film, and it’s not a drama, but we do deal with ideas that I think a lot of humans deal with Everyone sort of asks this question in the film: What is your purpose? What is the reason that you’re a hero, and what do you do when you have these powers?”

The director called it a “midlife crisis film”.

“In an interview to Lad Bible, Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen were asked to agree or disagree to the statement that Chris Hemsworth was the handsomest actor in the Marvel Universe. Without hesitating, the actors pushed the pointer to the ‘strongly agree’ option. Elizabeth said, “Hemsworth is godly,” and Benedict repeated the line heartily. Elizabeth continued, “I have worked with him for a few times,” and Benedict said, “It’s so hard to not be inappropriate.” Both of them gushed over Chris’ arm, and Elizabeth said, “His arm is way bigger than my head. I have a little head…but he’s also a charming, kind and good actor.”

“””Benedict Cumberbatch also appeared in the variety comedy sketch series Saturday Night Live as a host and talked about things as varied as his mother and wife, Mother’s Day and the infamous Will Smith-Chris Rock slap incident at this year’s Academy Awards ceremony.

Cumberbatch began by saying that most of the sketches he was pitched were about Doctor Strange. He jokingly said: “I have been in other films,”.He was told “Like what?”, and when Cumberbatch responded The Power of the Dog, he was told nobody saw that. He added saying: “”””Oh come on, man. I was nominated for an Oscar for that. I mean, I didn’t win. I was beat by Will smith””””

A film production company is contesting sanctions by New Mexico officials for alleged workplace safety violations on the set of Rust, where actor and producer Alec Baldwin fatally shot a cinematographer in October, according to filings posted Wednesday by state regulators.

Rust Movie Productions is challenging the basis of a $137,000 fine against the company by state occupational safety regulators who say production managers on the set of the Western film failed to follow standard industry protocols for firearms safety.

At a ranch on the outskirts of Santa Fe on Oct. 21, 2021, Baldwin was pointing a gun at cinematographer Halyna Hutchins inside a small church during setup for the filming of a scene when it went off, killing Hutchins.”

He wrote, “For the 1 year anniversary of Jimmy Rich’s cosmic mic drop, I felt the need to share a glimpse into his lightning wit.

In one of the clips, Jimmy describes his job. He says, “My drive and my ambition, determination and all that stuff is simply to be service to others. One right-hand man is kind of like your hand-all. So, what’s the job description? Honestly, there’s no job description.””
