Alia Yachting 55m Al Waab Delivered It sets a new industry standard
As the longest steel and aluminum yacht less than 500GT in the world, Al Waab Not only is Antalya a notable shipyard project, it also sets a new industry standard in terms of exterior and interior spaces for its class. In fact, Al Waab It offers 42% more exterior space (including storage for two sails) and 8% more interior space than comparable yachts on the market. “Yachts are getting longer and wider, but owners still want to stay below the 500 GT mark” Says Alia Chief, Gokhan Celik.
The amount of space and the flow of design were crucial factors in the owner’s enjoyment of the yacht. Thanks to nautical design and architecture by Vripack, the yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in six luxurious rooms – a rarity on a 499GTT – including a luxurious two-level master suite on the upper deck with a private 4-meter pool on the bow. the ship.
The sprawling beach club at the rear is another plus. Furthermore, by placing the soft bay in a bow sunken deck, the tenders are easily accessible but hidden from view.
The clean, modern exterior matches the contemporary yet evergreen interior. The owner wanted to avoid bright direct light, hence the illumination scattered throughout the bowl with soft, dim beams. The ceiling painted bamboo slats help absorb the natural sunlight that streams in through the large floor-to-ceiling windows during the day. The main feature is the illuminated gold installation on the wall with crystals embedded in the stairwell that covers all three floors.
Glass is also an essential element of the design. Glass fences on all floors provide uninterrupted outdoor views and large outdoor areas for guests to enjoy the views in a private and comfortable setting.
Other features include a drop-in fort in the dining area, which replaces the traditional formal dining room with an outdoor breakfast area just two meters above the water on the main right deck. Plenty of seating on the ship is designed to face outward for a true connection to the sea.
Despite its large size and top speed of 13.5-14 knots, Al Waab’The Caterpillar C18 twin diesel engine (725 hp / 533 kW) burns 35% less fuel than similar sized yachts.
Even before she was born Al Waab He was making waves and a 60m project currently under construction at Alia Shipyard brings together the Vripack and SF Yachts teams.

Custom Line has launched a new Navetta 30 Superyacht, an icon of the sea
It is the brand’s fourth yacht to enter the water in 2022 at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona. Measuring 28.43 meters (93 ft) in length and 7.3 meters (24 ft) in radius, its contemporary elegance and contemporary style strike a perfect balance that unifies the architectural language of nautical traditions, a choice of living materials, exquisite craftsmanship and the power of light.
In the exterior design, the generosity of volume is balanced by a dramatic streamlined elegance. The emphasis on the horizontal movement of the outer lines gives the yacht an elegant and dynamic silhouette, while maintaining the imprint of a timeless classic. The interiors are designed to work in synergy with the structure. One of the striking features of the Navetta 30 style is how it transcends residential solutions. This translates into a preference to experience indoor and outdoor living spaces as complementary planes that intersect in a cohesive and orderly continuum.
The body’s wide glazed surfaces, decks over two meters high, and spacious aft and arch areas provide an instant sense of spaciousness. The exteriors are designed for socializing and relaxation, and the onboard spaces are expanded for social interaction and privacy.
Among the hallmarks of the style advocated by the owner is the contrast between the polished teak wood used in the upholstery, door and window frames and very dark parquet. Mosaic bathrooms, nubuck leather in dark, soothing colors like Moka, furnishings for both the interior and exterior designed entirely by Minotti: build quality expresses distinctive contemporary design in every space and detail.
The brand’s bespoke style has allowed the owner to create a sun deck study space with custom-made furniture and Sky Bar, achieving the highest level of sophistication and personalization.
Navetta 30 is the result of a collaboration between the Ferretti Group’s engineering department, architect Filippo Salvetti, who designed the exterior, and Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, the firm that designed interior architecture on a joint basis with Custom Line Atelier, who provided strategic interior design consultancy.
