What’s Up This Week in The Bloom – 5.12.22 – The Bloom

This month is approaching another school year, bringing with it an eighth grader, high school graduate, and college graduate into our home. We didn’t plan it that way. It’s just the way life works sometimes. It looks like our family has a lot to celebrate in the coming weeks. To say the least, the past two years have been a challenge for everyone. However, another spring brings new beginnings as always. So I just want to give a shout out to all the graduates in our community. You did it! You have proven your ability to overcome any challenge life may throw your way and still achieve your goals. Hooray for you! Don’t slow down your journey to new beginnings. This is also the time of year when family calendars begin to fill up with adventures and new discoveries to be made. So thank you very much in advance for supporting our local small business; They can’t do what they’re doing without your help. This week we’re excited to share a beautiful piece on the Catfish Derby happening at Clearlake Oaks. It’s a Lake County tradition and worth a try. And be sure to tune in to the new Gathering Podcast. This week, host Michelle Scully talks about the Blue Zones Project currently happening in Lake County. If you get the chance, find out more about the Blue Zones at their event this Saturday at Austin Park in Clearlake, and bring the family. Enjoy the weekend, everyone.
